Overview
A Thrane fortress on the Mournland coast. After the party escaped the Mournland, Thrane forces brought them here for search, quarantine, and interrogation before the Lord of Blades assaulted it.
What players know
The party was taken to Angwar Keep after being rescued by a Thrane caravel. Thrane elite warforged guarded it. During interrogation by Chief Darion, the Lord of Blades attacked the fortress with a giant warforged and a platoon of elite warforged.
Why it matters
Angwar Keep was the party’s first contact with Thrane’s military and the front line of Thrane’s defense against the Lord of Blades. Its fall proved the threat was far larger than the party had believed.

- Session #5: Rescued by a Thrane caravel and taken to Angwar Keep; questioned by Chief Darion about Ferris d’Cannith and the briefcase before the Lord of Blades assaulted the keep.
- Session #6: The party escaped through the keep’s secret tunnel and collapsed the entrance behind them as the battle raged; the keep’s fate and those left inside remain unknown.
