The Shadow Marches between Zarash’ak, Drennak’s ruined family mine, and the attackers’ nearby den.

⚔️ What Happened

The party departed Zarash’ak and was ambushed by a giant crocodile on the way to the mines.

At the ruins of Drennak’s family mine, they found proof that the destruction had been deliberate. Dwarf-made demolition technology had been used to bring the mine down, and Drennak determined that the attackers had looted it before triggering the collapse.

M.A.7.7 traced residue from a metal-based suffocating agent used in the sabotage. The trail led toward the attackers’ den.

Karsus Dragonhawk sent Rex, his dragonhawk familiar, inside to scout stealthily. Rex returned with a warning that danger waited within, although the party could not yet determine how many people were present. They also confirmed that someone had entered the den very recently.
